CUSE SOCCER ACADEMY revamped our camp last summer and heard very good things about the structure and the activities.

What you can expect from the camp training environment:

This camp has a specific focus on the development of each individual:
Campers will learn the proper technique of the basic fundamentals.
Campers will learn how to handle the ball and manipulate the ball.
Campers will learn moves that will allow them to beat an opponent in multiple directions.
Campers will be encouraged to be creative and positive when the ball is at their feet.

We have created a training environment that teaches the basic fundamentals of a particular skill, progresses these basics to game speed level and then allows for success in a game realistic environment.

We create a mini 5-10 minute demo session using one of the age groups each day. All coaches and players will watch the session and then the age groups go to their practice area and complete the entire practice. Players learn very differently and we think by being able to see the session and also hear the coaching points while other players are working is a great learning tool. It also gives the players a chance to showcase their skills infront of the rest of the camp. We found this to be a very rewarding and fun exercise.

We’re very excited about our new curriculum and can’t wait to get started again this summer!

Competitions that will occur during the week:

This year we will have 3 main competitions which will take place within each assigned age/ability group:

The famous World Cup – Tournament with multiple teams/games
CUSE Skill Challenge- 4 challenges: dribbling, juggling, heading and ball mastery face off.
Penalty Kick Shootout- campers take penalty kicks on goal.

These competitions will occur throughout the week and the finals will take place on Friday!
